Sam Rodriguez
Sam Rodriguez is a New York City based actor expected to receive their Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting in May 2024 from Brooklyn College. They were awarded the Irene Ryan acting scholarship for their performance in "We’re Gonna Die" by Young Jean-Lee. They made their Off-Off Broadway debut as a swing in "Take Me Down to the Levee" at The Tank. Their latest credits include Little Stone in "Eurydice" and Cecily Cardew in "The Importance of Being Earnest". They have been a part of two staged readings at Lincoln Center this year.
In 2021, they co-founded the theatre club Free Association which hosts weekly improv and devising sessions. In addition to acting, Sam is an aspiring makeup artist and is passionate about LGBTQIA+ rights and visibility. As a Brooklyn native, they are looking to become involved in local politics. When they aren’t doing acting or any of these activities, they work at the Lucille Lortel Theatre serving libations to Off-Broadway theatre patrons.
