Ariunsanaa Odbayar is a Mongolian-American actress based in NYC, and a recent graduate of the BFA Acting program at Brooklyn College. Ari attended Frank Sinatra School of the Arts where she began her theatrical training with Jamie Cacciola-Price. Throughout her time at Brooklyn College she’s explored characters through a dynamic, ensemble-driven, movement-based lens. Her notable recent works include Callie in Diana Son’s Stop Kiss directed by Kyra Zagorsky, where she collaborated with her peers on a self-produced student-led production. In Gina Femia’s The Virtuous Fall of the Girls From Our Lady of Sorrow, she portrayed a playful Jenny discovering her queer identity.
On film, Ari has worked with filmmakers from the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema on various projects. Back home in Mongolia, she grew up trailing both her parents on and off set and around the National Theater of Dramatic Arts. Then in 2015, she worked as a supporting actress on the feature film 6 Дахь Хүсэл [Sixth Wish].
